No. Gleomento never asks for bank credentials and has no access to your accounts. You either text an expense over WhatsApp or upload a statement PDF yourself — that is the only way data gets in.
You correct it once and it stays corrected. Every transaction is editable, categories are yours to define, and duplicates from a statement import are removed before they reach your ledger.
You link your number once in Settings, then text it the way you would text a person: "Spent ₹450 on groceries at BigBasket". It reads the amount, the merchant and the category, files the transaction and replies with what it logged — asking it questions works the same way.
Yes. Gleomento is a progressive web app — open it in any mobile browser and add it to your home screen. Most days you will not need to, because logging and asking both happen inside WhatsApp.
The ledger is free permanently — unlimited transactions and accounts, budgets, goals, net worth, statement import, WhatsApp logging and full export. There is no card field and no trial clock. A Pro tier is coming for the parts that cost money to run, chiefly the AI; the price is not set yet and nothing is metered today.
That wording was too absolute and it is fair to hold us to having changed it. Running the AI and WhatsApp costs real money per message, and pretending otherwise ends with the whole thing quietly shutting down. So: the ledger stays free permanently, Pro will cover the metered parts, and any account created before Pro launches keeps unlimited AI for good rather than being moved onto a limit.
